Laxmi was inactive when she came to see us at Business 2 Business. She is a single parent from ethnic minority background with limited English and her marital status is widowed. She needed a job in local area, so she can have quality time with her children and a work-life balance. She worked previously in other neighbouring countries doing unsociable hours. We helped her with compiling CV, cover letter, job application support and interview skills. We also supported her with ESOL and gave access to job vacancies.
She successfully gained employment at Walker Snack Foods Ltd/Adecco and she is pleased with this new job as it is local and suitable for her needs.
