We are always keen to work with other organisations:

  • on an informal basis to extend the range of support, to which we can signpost our customers;

  • on a strategic basis, to establish joint projects and bidding with organisations that share our values and performance, and possess complementary skills, infrastructure and experience to our own. 

  • as a sub-contractor to other prime organisations to whom we can offer our specialist expertise; or 

  • as the prime organisation ourselves to bring together supply chain partners that complement one another to better meet customers’ diverse and complex needs.

The provision of a storage facility for project documentation

This new procurement exercise follows a previous procurement exercise between 13th May and 10th June 2022 for which no winning bid was received. If your organisation sent a bid in response to the previous procurement exercise, please note the changed specification below and the requirement to send in a new quote if you wish to take part in the competition, as bids sent in response to our previous procurement exercise are not eligible for consideration.

​Brighter Futures is a community-based project delivered through a partnership of local organisations throughout Leicester and Leicestershire. The project, which is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Community Fund, provides a wide range of learning and employment support interventions to support the holistic social inclusion of people experiencing disadvantage.

The project which began in December 2017 has generated a large number of participant and finance files which have to be retained until at least March 2034. We therefore wish to procure a storage facility for this purpose.

To meet our requirements, the successful contractor will meet the following physical and customer service requirements:


Physical service requirement:

  • Provide a unit of at least 200 sq. ft. for the storage of files in archive boxes and filing cabinets, from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2034;

  • ensure the unit does not experience temperatures above 35˚c or below 5˚c and humidity below 30% or above 60%;

  • have robust security arrangements such as access control systems, advanced surveillance and alarm systems (e.g. monitored alarm, 24 hour recorded CCTV, smoke and fire detection); and

  • ensure that Business 2 Business is the sole key holder for the storage unit.


Customer service requirement:

  • Customer service available on site during opening hours

  • Telephone and email helplines

  • Access to the unit, during normal office hours, for designated Business 2 Business employees for the deposit and retrieval of unit contents

  • A variety of trolleys and pallets trucks available to facilitate the movement of boxes and filing cabinets to the storage unit

  • Advice available about the use of trolleys and pallet trucks

  • Packing supplies available for sale on site


All methods must be in line with industry recommended best practice. No variant bids will be expected or allowed.


  • Contract value: Based on current market rates, we expect quotes up to a maximum of £80,000 inclusive of VAT and all expenses

To prepare for the launch of tender opportunities through the Commercial Agreement for Employment and Health Related Services (CAEHRS), the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and other publicly funded programmes, Business 2 Business are inviting applications from employment and skills providers across England and Wales that wish to join our framework of supply chain partners.

​​The CAEHRS framework will run for five years (2020-2025) during which tier one and tier two tender opportunities could amount to an aggregate contract value of up to £7.5 billion. Business 2 Business has been successful in being selected as a tier two CAEHRS provider by the Department for Work and Pensions’ (“DWP”) in all five English Lots on the DWP CAEHRS Framework:

·         Regional Lot 1 - Central England – Tier 2

·         Regional Lot 2 - North East England – Tier 2

·         Regional Lot 3 - North West England – Tier 2

·         Regional Lot 4 - Southern England – Tier 2

·         Regional Lot 5 – London and Home Counties – Tier 2

We are looking to develop supply chains of end to end delivery partners and a framework of specialist/call off partners of employability, work-based learning, supported employment and self-employment support who can support the delivery of the DWP CAEHRS opportunities and other publicly funded programmes such as the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

​We are particularly keen to receive framework applications from organisations that have strong engagement with participants and employers, the capacity and expertise to meet participant needs and a successful track record of delivering publicly funded skills and/or employability programmes in their LEP area(s).
